Children can be mean but then again the parents taught them to be mean. I remembered my son who was 7, asked me why were pple surprised Nabi Isa Alaihisalam has no father and why was it considered bad for a woman to have a baby without a husband. I tried to explain to him as tactfully as possible according to Islamic law. At the same time I told him not to judge and not to make fun of those without fathers because it is a sin too. I am sorry those kids were mean to you. You sound like a nice and kind person - and I dooa Allah will protect you.
lahirnya seorang bayi ke dunia seumpama kain yang putih dan bersih. maka terpulanglah kepada kedua2 ibu bapa (in ur case ur nenek n makcik) untuk mencorakkannya... (ada lagi hok lain tapi dok ingat.)

It is no fault of the child, whoever this child is.
We always forget that it's no fault of the child to be born as such. But somehow it's the child who will get "punished". Our mindset really need to be changed.
Please don't think that I agree with those who called you "anak luar nikah" because I have no idea what the real situation was.
hmmm.. im lucky to hv a dad,unfortunately not to some people. tapi jgn sedih.. there's always a father figure in you life too, i believe.
macam nasha aziz cakap dalam paper, father n child was not bond by the DNA sahaja, but the real 'father' adalah those who who cherish,care,love,provides their child.
