Your is exactly the type of hair that was the envy of everyone back then.
The thing about them is that on hair inpection day,it could be groomed wet to be above the ear and passed all the criteria of decent hair catalogue in school disciplinary book.
Once passed the inspection,on the hot day it'll start springing up again ,with little teasing it could blocked the whole blackboard for those sitting behind you.
It is a laughing matter now but back then I wished i had your hair.
A friend's son ,after finding an old university photo of afro looking father, used the photo to 'surprise' the mother and wondering whether she can recognise his father.
Little did the son realise that those were the hair ,what we called 'girl killer',that made his mother fell for the dad.The mother played along and had a good laugh.
Girls couldnt resist the wearer of afro as it remind them of MJ .(Of course Bergeng look cuter than MJ..that goes without saying)
