You almost live your life there - it may take a while to get use to living elsewhere. You are missing home..

So true...the rig is a lonnngggg way from the suburban existence of Damansara Perdana....When school starts you will have lots to occupy your time.

Whats the usual fare for breakfast on the rig?

I knew someone who used to work for Schlumberger and was so traumatised by the experience of living on a rig. No wonder Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck opted to become astonauts instead...

You must be a very strong man indeed Berg to have survived for so long.

Thinktankgal: Lemme know if you one day happen to find yourself on a rig so I can introduce you to the chef. I'm sure the guy will be more than willing to let you have all the steaks in his freezer. Afterall it ain't everyday he gets to serve a lady.

Comment Deleted: I didn't do it.

Torts: It's gonna take some getting used to.

Dr Roza: You're right there. The drop-out rate is pretty high. Most guys won't go back in after two or three cycle, preferrring to look for something on land.

Lifebloom: You've got a choice of Malaysian or western style breakfast.

Noni: Literally grew up there. It shaped my thinking, the way I conduct myself, my personality, and the way I think.
